Here are the directions for using the 3M Unitek Transbond MIP Primer:

• Prepare the tooth surface by etching it with an appropriate dental etchant according to standard orthodontic bonding procedures.
• Rinse the etchant thoroughly and ensure the tooth surface is clean and free from debris.
• Apply a small amount of Transbond MIP Primer from the bottle onto the etched surface using an applicator brush.
• Ensure even coverage of the primer across the entire etched area.
• Allow the primer to dry for the recommended time specified by the manufacturer.
• Once the primer is dry, proceed with applying the orthodontic adhesive (e.g., Transbond XT Light Cure Adhesive or APC Adhesive Coated Appliance System) according to the manufacturer's instructions.
• Place the orthodontic appliance or bracket onto the primed and adhesive-coated tooth surface and position it correctly.
• Cure the adhesive using an appropriate curing light following the recommended curing time.
• Remove any excess adhesive and clean the surrounding area.
